Tenaja Tree Damage Collection
The Fire Safe Council will be sponsoring another weekend storm damage tree limb collection:
Saturday, Feb 14th; 8am-4pm, at Liberty Oaks Ranch -- off Tenaja Road:enter on Calle Dietel
Sunday: Feb 15th; 8am-4pm, Northland Court off Tenaja Road
This is a collection strictly for Plateau residents to have a location to bring their downed tree debris:
No limbs larger than 4" in diameter, no palm fronds, stringy vine-like materials, building materials or
SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES!! Please do not bring any "rakings" (leaves, grass & debris) -- this cannot be chipped and leaves the host property a mess!!
Each property owner must accompany their workers, or the "dumpee" must have a contract or written agreement with the property owner showing
their name and address. This collection is not an effort to circumvent green waste dumping by commercial landscapers -- it is an effort to help our
neighbors in disposing of some of their storm damaged trees, and essentially help in keeping our area fire safe, as these downed trees constitute a
hazardous fire threat going forward.
There will be drop-off fees for this service: $10 / pick-up, $15 / pick-up & sm trailer < 6', $20 / pick-up & long trailer > 6', $25 lg dumpster-type trucks & trailers.
Come early -- Once the lot is full, we will unfortunately have to turn folks away.
The Council will need some volunteers to help in the monitoring of these collections; 4 hour shifts both days. Those who volunteer, can dump for free!!
